The people's cube (dot com) is a site that is not only funny, but is funny because they have a fantastic way of making a point through humor. They've done it again straightaway in the new year with a great example of why wealth is earned and cannot be "distributed" by equating that to the other end of the spectrum with from a mock headline from the future on "redistribution of justice". Just as it's ludicrous to assign the same sentence to every crime, it is ludicrous to "assign" the same wealth or compensation to every effort exerted or results created. It would be ridiculous (and clearly unfair) to assign the same sentence to each crime regardless of the severity of the crime. Likewise it is ridiculous (and clearly unfair to the productive) to even attempt to assign the same result to all efforts through misguided legislation.
