Wandering around Rome early in the morning is great! You get to see all those wonderful places without people. 3 euro is way too much to pay for coffee in Italy. In most bars you can buy excellent coffee for around 1 euro. The best places in Rome are Caffe St Eustachio and Tasso D’Oro, both near the Pantheon.

Exactly. I’m sure the director wanted to make the point that war is bad and is an empire etc… but the other side of that coin is that one groups need does not automatically constitute a claim on another group.

Who knows? The point is we have to deal with what we have now and what we have is not a President that says he wants to live in a FREE society, he wants to live in a fair society. Big difference. He could start with the Fair Tax at least. I predict he loses a ton of independents and a lot of Lefties who also realize they’ve been hoodwinked as well. Amazing times.

Asia – thanks for the comment on a post from July of 2009 wow. In any event, Obama is simply awful for the USA. It’s not about hate. And if there are people that “hate” him it is because we have to make one of two conclusions by his actions. Either a.) He is stupid to think that his policies will get people back to work, or b.) he is a smart guy and he knows that his policies will have precisely the opposite effect. Which do you think it is? Is he foolish or deliberate?
It also has nothing to do with race. People don’t like him because of his policies, his ideas, and the direction he wants to take the USA. The same people that do not like Obama for these reasons don’t like Harry Reid or Hillary Clinton for the same reasons. It’s about ideas and direction.
I think that he and his policies do more harm than good. In fact he and his policies harm greatly the very people that made him President and next time we have a presidential election perhaps the voting population with not be so foolish in it’s collective decision. It’s just a shame that the country has to go through this period which down the road will probably be known as “the Obama years” in the books of history. He has failed the people who supported him and he has fulfilled the warnings of those that did not vote for him. In short, he has been a disaster for the USA. Best to you.

Based on over 200 years of prepration from previous US leaders what type of “change” did you truly expect.

Agen. Thanks for the comment. Perhaps you missed my point which is here is an incredible story of a woman who goes from zilch to billionaire and you’d think she’d credit the system within which she made it for helping her but instead she sublimely sees that a free market economy is how millions of people can best serve the needs of the society by freely engaging in business with one another based on supply and demand instead of letting a planned economy attempt to do it a fail over and over. The message I am making is that it would heed the USA good for the politicians to stop trying to “manage” the USA economy and instead simply get out of the way as much as possible.

Forcucci; aside the really bad /metaphor/ providing Xin the ‘teacher’ for us poor simple folk, by way of her super-flipper moment as something significant (in a place having no such activity, at all, a few years back)– might you note, in that same interview is her cover. she points to government as ‘interference’ of the ‘market’ ….when it all goes pop..SHE ALSO GETS TO SAY “SEE? I WAS ON TV CONCERNED FOR THE ‘POOR FOLK’ SO I CAN’T BE SO AWFUL”…some context would be nice of vastly different SETTINGS!!
..that and a freakin clue of supply and demand.
